As everyone may know I am excited about the new star wars game. Back over a year ago I told alot of people that I planned on remaking Project X and I am sticking to that. We have roughly nine months until the game is released but time can and does fly so Ive made this post as a call to arms.
Anyone who is interested in playing Old republic with the old gang please post here saying you are interested.
Now I know that there are two factions and alot of people mentioned sith as a potential side. I would like to be a bounty hunter but if i had to choose between that or playing with former guildies id choose playing with former guildies. So nothings set in stone ..including faction.
So plase post if you are interested and I will continue to update as more information becomes available.

Also I wanna let everyone know that this call to arms for Old Republic is for anyone who ever had the PX guild tag. Even if you left the guild before we shut down or was only in it for a small time. So if you had been in PX and would like to be part of it again in star wars let me know.

Make it so.
Please convince Markus as well. There has to be some equivalent of frost mage in the galaxy that will bring back his inner nerd rage. I know he misses it...

I'll definitely go to the new Project X once the game is out.

I was originally going to wait until Bioware showed us apple users some love, but if you are going to remake project, I'd gladly shell out the cash for a Windows 7 license and run the game via bootcamp.
Count me in no matter what.

I was shocked to find out that there is a Dragon Age: Origins for Mac.
It's a third-party Cedega port, though, and it looks like it's given second-class status (I doubt that the expansion is available for Mac). But hey, at least there's (a little) hope.

Yeah, I actually bought that. It runs pretty good, but and as a cider port, it takes about a 10% performance hit, and like you said, the expansion is not available, and there is no word on it ever becoming available.
I'm sure they will release a mac client of swtor eventually, but since the engine used to build it has direct x hard coded into it with no open gl support, it would take a significant amount of time for them to create a native mac os client, and if they opted to go the transgaming route like they did with dragon age, I'd rather not bother with it.
If the guild is definitely going live at launch, it'll tip the scale in favor of purchasing a Windows OS, since it's not like I use my computer for anything mac oriented.

The guild will be live at launch. I intend to have everything up and going as best as can be by the time the game launches.

I get terribly frustrated by having to boot into windows to play certain games, but its a fact of life for us mac users. (of course, I actually do a lot of mac based stuff, so I can't go back to a windows os fulltime). my main frustration comes from a lack of hard drive space on my laptop though, which means if I want to boot into windows 7 I have to connect my external drive, which kinda defeats the purpose of having a laptop in the first place.

Same thing with me. I beta tested windows 7 on boot camp, and it is extremely frustrating having to reboot constantly to perform different tasks. I never intended to play any game aside from WoW on my computer, being extremely console oriented as far as games are concerned. But, it is what it is.
I'm even considering grabbing Windows sooner rather than later, as it seems the recommended ram for OS X is greater than it is for windows in regards to Starcraft 2.
