Welcome to Project X!

Project X is a Horde, World of Warcraft guild on the Drenden realm.

We are a family guild of mature players. We are all a close knit family, not just a team, that likes to have fun together. After all, it is a game!

We don't like to be classified as any type of guild.  We just do what feels right to us.  Some might say we are casual or med-core (not mediocre!!).  We do raid, but we aren't a raiding guild.  There are varying levels of raiding teams to suit everyone's tastes.  We are casual, but we are serious as well.  If you are used to your standard every day raiding guild but just want to raid less days, we'll drive you nuts.  We have a unique way of doing things that works well for us.  We don't get held back by, "you can't do it that way."  or, "it has to be done this way."  Often times we make our own strategies and have been successful at most things that we have attempted.

We really are a family, not just a group of players that happen to share a guild tag. We have players that are extremely active and on most of the day, every day.  We have players who log on a couple times a week.  We have people in between.  As long as you are courteous and interact with the other members, you can play the game in your own way.  However, if we schedule instance runs or raids, we fully expect those members who signed up to show up and to be prepared. We want to raid 2 to 3 times a week for approximately 3 to 4 hours a night. We will not tell you what class to play or what spec you should be.

Because of our very vague definition, we try to offer a little bit of everything.  The guild events are divided into five basic groups: level 20-74 instancing, level 75+ instancing, raiding, PvP and finally social events.  Members can pick and choose which events they want to attend.  But what this means is that while we have a few members focused on end-game and high level raiding, our lower levels and those not interested in raiding are not left behind.  It also means that you can do things by yourself and still be in the guild, you can join one of our councils and help lead the guild, or you can just show up to events and have fun.  We highly encourage participation in guild events, but it is never mandatory.

This video pretty much sums up who we are.  Enjoy!

It was late, but we weren't giving up.  Freya went down this Friday!  Everyone did a great job.  Grats to all.

After a great night on Wednesday, we had all night tonight to focus on new content.  Tonight was our first attempt on Auriaya.  After learning the pull, we downed her with no problem.  Watchers are next!

We had a kick ass night on Wednesday and downed each previously downed boss in one shot.  That allowed us a few tries on the Assembly of Iron.  They fell hard!  Great job and lots of upgrades for almost everyone.

We had a really good Ulduar night for Team Cake.  It was fun and we made some progress as well!

Kologarn went down on the first try last night and we got some really good attempts on some other bosses that several of us hadn't seen.

Great job everyone!
